Over 100 delegates have signed up early for places at The Business Travel Conference due to take place in October. Half the available travel buyer places have already been reserved, with many delegates citing the success of previous events as their reason for getting in early.
Now in its fifth year The Business Travel Conference will open at Novotel London West in Hammersmith on October 17-18. It is well established as a leading business travel event and has become an even more essential date in the diary as business travel buyers battle harder than ever to keep the business community on the move in difficult economic times.
Delegate numbers are limited to 200 corporate buyers and arrangers of business travel so as to keep the six seminars and workshops at their most effective size and to optimize networking opportunities during the breakout sessions. The popular ‘Calling Card’ appointments system will continue this year with those using the system being entered into a prize draw to win at trip to India courtesy of Egencia and Jet Airways.
Among those delegates returning this year, Katrina Gallart, of Alliance Healthcare, said: “TBTC is a great networking experience. I am looking forward to attending again to get new ideas and solutions.”
Steve Macey, from Transport for London, booked his place saying: “TBTC provides a great mix of professionals all focused on efficiency, service improvement and sustainability” And Rosie Mohammad, Travel Manager from Pinsent Mason, added: “TBTC delivers on very topical and current travel issues. It’s a definite must for all SMEs.”
Repeating delegates have also cited the opportunity for indepth discussions with suppliers; the chance to network with the peers, the practical help and advice gained and the intimate and friendly atmosphere of the event as their reasons for rebooking.
Key sponsors for the event will be Virgin Atlantic, SACO Apartments, HRS and Carlson Wagonlit.
